reading responce

In the book "Paisley Hanover Acts Out" by Cameron Tuttle the author shows that in life people are going to be mean and back stab you, the author shows this by Paisley friends Jen and Cate acting fake and rude. Jen back stabs Paisley with her boyfriend, she also spreads rumors about Paisley, and ruined her chance of becoming president. While Cate flirts with Paisley crush, ruined her drama project and set her up on cheer leading tryouts

                                       Changers by T Cooper & Allison Glock-Cooper

Have you ever felt just like you did not know yourself?  Drew feels the same way.
Changers by T. Cooper and Allison Glock-Cooper is about a boy named Ethan who changes into a girl
named Drew.  Drew is a new person now who must lose something because he will never be Ethan
again.  Changers is a book that teens who don’t know who they really are should read.

Drew is questioning who she really is, she misses being with her friend Andy.  Andy was her friend when
she was a boy.  She does have new friends but she said that “Ethan does not live anymore”.  In the story
Drew wakes up as a different person each year, so she will never be Ethan again, she feels like waking up
as Drew killed Ethan.

This makes me believe teens might not know who they are and might feel all alone and reading this
book will make them feel like they are not alone.  I also think this book is about self-love.  I think this
because Drew is not happy with herself at the beginning but she learns to live with the fact she is a
Changer. Teen can relate to Ethan changing into Drew because people are trying to find themselves just
like Ethan/Drew.

When Ethan wakes up as Drew it shows the reader that you may or may not really know yourself. This
book shows that you might know who you are, but you might wake up as someone else.
